Welcome to Ethicalelegance.com.au. This website is owned and operated by Ethical Elegance, and throughout these terms, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Ethical Elegance. Your use of the Ethicalelegance.com.au website signifies your agreement to these Terms & Conditions, including any other policies referenced herein, and with all applicable laws. These terms are subject to change without prior notice.

1. Product Images and Videos
We strive to display the colors and characteristics of our lab-grown diamond jewelry as accurately as possible. Please be aware that the actual colors you see may vary depending on your monitor settings. Product images and videos may be enlarged to show intricate details, and the actual size may differ from what appears on your screen.

2. Pricing of Products and Services
While we endeavor to ensure all pricing and product information is accurate, human error can occur. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct it and, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order placed for an item at an incorrect price. All prices listed for Australian users are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). For international customers, prices may vary depending on whether GST (or equivalent VAT) is applicable, and this will be clearly indicated. GST is generally not applicable for international sales. Promotions and sales prices are valid for the specified period only; purchases made before a sale or promotion are not eligible for retrospective refunds or discounts, nor for exchanges to lower-priced items as a result of a sale.

3. Website Stock Availability
Our website's stock availability for lab-grown diamonds and jewelry settings is updated automatically. In rare instances, due to system errors or technical glitches, a selected item may become unavailable after your order is placed. Should this occur, Ethical Elegance will contact you to offer a suitable alternative with equivalent or superior characteristics. If a satisfactory alternative cannot be found, a full refund will be issued.

4. Payment Details
Upon selecting your items and providing shipping information, you will be directed to enter your payment details. By entering your payment information and placing your order, you authorize us and our third-party payment processors to debit the total order amount from your chosen payment method.

5. Lab-Grown Diamond Grading Reports and Certificates
All loose lab-grown diamonds, unless otherwise specified, come with a recognized grading report or certificate. This report will be included with your shipment. These grading reports are issued by independent gemological laboratories and are valuable documents. Should you return a diamond, the original, undamaged grading report must accompany it. Failure to return the original grading report will result in a replacement fee of up to AUD $250, which covers the cost of obtaining a new certificate and associated shipping and insurance to and from the laboratory.

6. Links to Other Websites
Ethical Elegance may provide links to external websites for your convenience. We make no representations or warranties regarding the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites accessed through our site. A link to another website does not imply endorsement of that site or its products and services. You access such external sites at your own risk.

7. Governing Law
Any dispute or disagreement arising from your use of this website or pertaining to Ethical Elegance shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

8. Customer Communications
Any communications you send to us, including emails, letters, or voicemails related to your use of this site, become the property of Ethical Elegance. We reserve the right to use such communications for commercial, promotional, or other purposes, provided we do not use your full name in promotional materials without your explicit authorization. While we may retain certain communications for marketing purposes, we are not obligated to retain every message.

10. Changes to Orders in Progress
For changes requested on orders already in the manufacturing process, the following conditions apply:

• The manufacturing process must be at a stage where the order can be stopped or has not yet commenced.

• The payment for the item was made in full at the time of purchase.
  If both conditions are met, changes to the style or metal type may be made without additional cost. If these conditions are not met, a fee of AUD $300 will be charged to cover incurred manufacturing costs.

 

11. Use of Images and Videos of Manufactured Products
We reserve the right to use images and videos of any product we manufacture on our digital assets (including our website and social media channels). Such images/videos will typically be made public two months after the item has been collected or delivered. If you require a postponement of the publication date beyond two months, please contact us at sales@ethicalelegance.com.au with your order details and requested publication date.
